Dare to Love Me (2008)

Rodrigo Santoro, Paz Vega, and Shakira have all been confirmed to take part in Alfonso Arau’s romantic epic feature Dare to Love Me.
Slated to start shooting next spring in Romania, the picture Dare to Love Me, set in 1930s Paris is about the life of Argentine Tango legend Carlos Gardel. Santoro is billed to play the crooner, while Vega and Shakira will both become his love interests in a romantic triangle.
Santoro, a Brazilian actor of Italian and Portuguese descent, has recently joined the cast of ABC's hit series Lost, that is now in its third season while Vega can be seen next on theaters in December playing opposite Morgan Freeman in the play 10 Items or Less. As for Shakira, the beautiful celebrity has just been reported to win four out of five nominations at the 7th annual Latin Grammy Awards held November 2 of 2006.
